Valley Outdoor was established in the year 2011 by a young entrepreneur and aspiring landscape designer named Austin Blunk. He attended Iowa State University, where he majored in Landscape Design, acquiring essential skills and knowledge in the field. Austin is a proud local resident of Bettendorf. The company, Valley Outdoor, began its journey with just a few smaller lawn accounts and has since developed into a larger, full-service operation that caters to a diverse clientele. Throughout this growth, maintaining high quality and delivering results on time has remained a top priority for Austin, as he takes this aspect of the business very seriously.

In the Fall of 2017, Valley Outdoor made a significant move by acquiring Kirby Lawn Care, based in Leclaire, IA. This strategic addition expanded our services into the lawn maintenance and landscape market, allowing us to better serve our customers.

In 2023, Valley Outdoor expanded further by acquiring Casey Mohr Mowing, also located in Bettendorf, IA. This step broadened our presence in the lawn maintenance and landscape market, and we are excited to welcome our new clients while ensuring a smooth and seamless transition.

In 2025, Valley Outdoor continued its growth by acquiring Reeds Lawn Service, further enhancing our capabilities and strengthening our presence in the local lawn and landscape industry.
